THANK YOU, ILLINOIS LAW ENFORCEMENT! The Libertyville Stars again had the privilege of running with the Libertyville Police Department (and family and friends) on their portion of the Special Olympics torch relay as the torch came through Libertyville on June 4, 2017. Once the local police finished their 3-mile run, they joined us for a “thank you” celebration at Cook Park. We appreciate all our athletes and their families – and especially our local police department – for coming out early on a Sunday morning to support the Law Enforcement Torch Run. Thanks, Libertyville Police, for supporting Special Olympics!
