June 9 – Our friends from the Mundelein Police Department and other Illinois Law Enforcement officers (along with local track and cheerleading teams) carried the Special Olympics torch through Libertyville, en route to the 2013 Special Olympics Illinois Summer Games. Every year, some members of the Libertyville Stars come to cheer for the runners and show our support.
