For nearly 150 years, BP and its heritage companies have demonstrated a strong commitment to America and the communities where we live and work. We can be found in oil and gas fields from Alaska, across the Rockies and out to the deepwater Gulf of Mexico, providing millions of Americans with fuel for transportation, energy for heat and light; lubricants to keep engines moving; and petrochemicals for everyday products. And while we want our businesses to thrive, we know that success often depends on the communities we operate in prospering as well.

We are proud of our employees who join our efforts to strengthen those communities through support for charitable organizations that aid our neighbors in need, educational initiatives that benefit our youth, and other programs that, in so many ways, enrich the quality of life in those communities. Through our innovative Fabric of America Fund, every US employee can direct BP contributions to a community organization of their choice. Since the fund’s inception in 2007, BP has given more than $23 million on behalf of our employees, helping to support more than 16,000 organizations in all 50 states.

On behalf of our employee Steve Cerve and approximately 20,000 other BP people in the United States, thank you for working to make a difference in people’s lives. We hope our support will help you to continue the work that has made an impression on those around you.
